Award! 3rd place in Open Source Photo Competition!
Yaahhoooo! We won an award! This is a big one for us because the images were judged by the general public and other photographers involved in the contest. We took this photo last June 30th during Maria and Chris' amazing wedding, to make things even more fun it was my 30th birthday! ha!

Great image John! Did you use a separate image for the stars? Or was it all from one exposure?
Not sure if you remember me... we talked a bit at Monte and Luella's wedding, I took some pre-prep and guest book photos.
Ahh David! I totally remember. That was a fun wedding. The original did have a lot of stars, but as you noticed there are some "extras" in there. I really wanted the stars to "pop" in this one and it worked.
This photo was taken in almost pitch blackness. so the extra stars were not necessary.. but worthwhile.
