Weddings are exactly the way to start the week. Especially weddings where I feel like everyone had the best time ever, because really, aren’t we all just about celebrating love with the people that mean the most to us? Yes, yes we are. Laura and Tim’s big day, seemed EXACTLY that — a huge celebration of their love surrounded by the people that mean the most to them in the world. But as with any good wedding, first we have got to get betrothed! What better place to highlight true love than the Strasburg Railroad?
When asked to describe their couple-hood Laura said, “We like things that are handmade and antique, wooden, slightly old fashioned,” and as such I was delighted to see these adorable engagement photos!
Alright, on with the big day! Laura got ready at her parents house and I absolutely adore how cozy and familiar these getting read pics are. What a treasure!
Getting ready with Grandma, especially the lipstick and the brooch, were special touches that Laura and Tim incorporated all day.
Laura arranged all the flowers for the big day herself (!!!) and I love the capture of Tim doing his part with the boutonnieres! Well done all around!
I’m a huge proponent of the first look. Not only do you get to see your favorite person ever and hug and smooch them, it can calm the nerves and bonus — amazing, adorable pictures result.
As a woman who had a great bridal party clad in navy I’m kind of biased, but these pictures are just amazing. Those bouquets are to die for against the navy and their friends and family can strike a pose like it is their J-O-B!
Hey you, little guy. You’re amazing. Call me in 20 years and let’s hang out and have buffalo wings and you can give me advice on how to be the coolest ever.
I love the ring bearer and flower girls in these pictures. So reminiscent of Wills and Kate’s homegirls. Well played.
These Bride and Groom portraits are so deliciously sweet, I adore them!
Let’s get hitched! Laura and Tim traded vows and partied hardy at the Cork Factory Hotel in Lancaster, PA. I love this venue — they have great service, tons of amazing lighting and it’s so moody and romantic!
As we’ve talked about, the first woo hoo as H+W is very, very important. Well done, Laura!
Laura’s dad is a baker and fashioned their cake for the big day! How wonderful (and delicious looking!)!
These details look like they jumped off my dream wedding board on Pinterest. Yes I’ve been married for 5 years. Yes, I still have a dream weddings Pinterest board.
As my friend Jeremy says, love, live and dance your night away. Jeremy must have talked to Laura and Tim and their family and friends. What a party!
This man is my new spirit animal. Call me!
Laura and Tim – you two are too wonderful for words (which is ironic, because I’m writing about you!). Days captured like this just ooze with love and emotions of all kinds. What a perfect way to start a wonderful life together!
