Photographers notes:
Beautiful location mixed with a fun and charming couple= awesome photos. Everything was in one location at the wonderful grounds of the Antrim 1844. The light all day was beautiful and the mood between the bride and groom was loving and sometimes goofy (perfect!).. the event went so smooth and easy. We love days like this!

Kates wedding Notes:

Tim & I got engaged in Savannah, and it should be said that I might have purchased a few wedding books before we even returned from our trip.  Let’s just say I was very detailed oriented bride throughout the whole process, although some might say a tad OCD, But I really couldn’t have been happier with how our wedding turned out, it exceeded any dreams I had.  I scoured lots of wedding blogs and pinterest for ideas during the planning process.  We also found inspiration in vintage items that we mixed in with some bright modern graphics to capture a ‘fun’ vibe.  We collected a bunch of mason jars, wooden boxes, and assorted vases to use for our flowers.  We scraped down and repainted 3 old doors for our ceremony backdrop.  It was a lot of fun searching for just the right items to make our vision a reality.  So many people came up to us on the big day and said the wedding was totally “us”, so I think we achieved our goal of a fun & relaxed wedding.  We picked things we were immediately drawn to, and didn’t let ourselves feel pressured to do things just because they are ‘tradition’.  Your wedding is a reflection of you as a couple, so that should show through in every part of your big day.  Oh, and choose amazing vendors!  Choosing vendors whose work we truly loved was one of the best decisions we made.

    LOVE the post! 🙂

I have been wanting to blog these sessions FOREVER.. now that we are off our blogging hiatus, here we go. Let me introduce you to Bill and Wendy, they hired us for one of our “Happily Ever After Sessions” last year to capture that oh so magic time right before your family goes from 2 to 3.  (See below for proof of said magic.) Shortly after that, their son was born and we went out and had a little more fun in the spring with him too! Bill is a photography aficionado and fine art photographer who enjoys shooting with different cameras and films. His work is stunning; do yourself a favor and get lost on his site… http://billwolffphotography.com/.  I really enjoyed every second with these folks and they are a good example of how clients can so easily become friends. We look forward to watching this family grow.
