Photobooth

Ok, so Lauren and Mark had the best photobooth attendance ever. Normal pictures, wacky pictures and everything in between. Here are a few of our favorites.

Photobooth

I think the photobooth somehow flashed her.

This young lady finds her way onto our blog at least once or twice a year.. she’s a former client, present friend and we just lurve her.

You have probably seen her before… but in a less wacky state.

Photobooth

Everyone knows the lyrics to Dancing Queen by ABBA

Photobooth

And then of course there are new 2010 clients getting their crazy on.

Photobooth

“I don’t want you to take the picture until I’m ready.”

Photobooth

A photobooth huh? Interesting… very interesting.

Photobooth

OMG! I’m going to pee myself… stop I’m going to pee.

Photobooth

The classic “fresh catch” pic.

Photobooth

Is he taking a picture of his arse?!?! Crap I’m in the picture!

Photobooth

Completely drawing a blank here. Help me out in the comments section.

Photobooth

This must be a politician. I’d vote for him.

Photobooth

Fireworks.. definitely fireworks.

Photobooth

I think they looked exactly like this all night.

Photobooth

A “fresh catch” of the mark with the added bonus of a sign reading EXETER. Classic.

Photobooth

The trifecta.. Fireworks, alcohol and kissing. All they need is somebody in their lap to blow a hole in the space time continuum.

Photobooth

Fireworks and REDRUM

Photobooth

Classic after the silly shot shot.

Photobooth

My fave of the bunch. This one has to be Journey. I’ll call this shot “The midnight train going anyyyyywhere.”

Photobooth

And more 2010 clients who apparently have troubles with oxygen. I’m hoping they get this worked out before their wedding.

Photobooth

Stick your tongues in the ayer… ay.. ay.. ayer.

Photobooth

Of course the DJ, Jeremy needs his photobooth moment with the bride.

Photobooth

And I think there were at least 10 just like this of various children.

Meet Gigi and Jeff, an amazing 2009 couple we had the wonderful opportunity to photograph. They had an amazing wedding at Brandywine Manor House in PA. This couple rocked and the wedding was simply gorgeous. We have adorned our gallery walls with some of these shots and its no wonder why. The only question I have is why did it take so long to blog it?!?! Would it excite you to know we have maybe a dozen more awesome wedding we still need to blong from the amazing year that was 2009?! Anywho, we hope you enjoy this wedding snippet #3 and we are hoping to bring you another one soon!

We shot this ultra-fun couple’s wedding last Saturday and we can’t wait to show you those images! In the meantime, get to know a bit them with a few shots from their engagement session. They had so many fun ideas that really incorporated their personalities into the shoot. From vintage silliness in a local bar, to the artistic field shots and a trip to the local hardware store.. these guys get a creative A+. We loved the challenge, future clients… bring it!

The above “check out” scenes are a reenactment from what I gathered. Ha!

Today is World Down Syndrome Day. The number 21 is synonymous with Down Syndrome signifying the triplication of the 21st chromosome. John and I wanted to recognize it by introducing you to someone special in our lives. Meet our nephew: Lucas Henry!

Lucas_Newborn0019

He is possibly one of the cutest, most content, lovely little boys that you will ever have a chance to meet. Lucas was born last year with Down Syndrome. Up until this point in our lives that we have been deprived of the pleasure of spending a significant amount of time around people with Down Syndrome. Since Lucas was born, our family has grown in education, grown in compassion, grown in self respect, grown in happiness, grown in self awareness, and best of all grown in love. These are some photos John took of little Lucas when he was just a few days old:

Our open house yesterday was a great success! Much thanks to everyone who came. We really enjoyed meeting everyone and are excited to work with some new people!

Many people won some fancy stuff.

We are, however, still waiting to award the first person to bring in an electric guitar, the 1st person travel here from out of state, and of course anybody with a bow-tie deserves something special too.

Untitled-2
These fellers won most cameras and best trick…(that was the much anticipated Snuggie! Enjoy, Anton!) (Daniel, on the left, also won 1st photographer and a Baby Session for bringing the first child under 12 months. He made out like a bandit!)

Untitled-5
Of course the runner-up defied physics with the ability to attract balloons, yes, that thing is clinging to her head.

Untitled-3

Que- “Dancing With Myself” – Billy Idol. Although it WAS a stunning dance by the water cooler and made us all giggle hysterically, we deemed that it wasn’t exactly a trick, but we adore him for trying. Although he did not earn his pink Snuggie…he was the winner of the drawing for a Happily Ever After Session!! Yay Jeff! Can’t wait to photograph your amazing family!

Untitled-4

There may or may not have been a little wine involved, or at least we found a way to make it involved.

Untitled-6

There was also lots of candy and flavored caffeinated coffee beverages, both a big hit!

Petals & Beans of Strasburg provided some excellent arrangements too.

All in all, it was an exceptional day in the life of Sanderson Images and we thank everyone who came to enjoy it with us!
