Save Speedbump!
As many of you know the Sandersons rescued a dying kitten from the middle of a busy road on 11-10-11 and after a lot of work brought him back to a state of health that will keep him alive until he receives treatments to help him eat better and become a responsibility adopted cat. Unfortunately we are this kittens only chance as all the shelters and the Humane league have been honest with us enough to let us know that unless somebody adopts him, a cat in his condition will be immediately put down as shelters of every kind are bursting at the seams with healthy cats, no No-kill shelters will accept him unless we just leave him at the door and run. So a malnourished (hes 8 weeks and only weighs 1 lb) cat like Speedbump is not worth the cost of saving within the system. 
Unfortunately, as wedding photographers we are not presently in a great place (heading into the off season) to afford the cost of returning this kitten to health, nor do we have a suitable long term home for him. But after saving him from the road we can’t simply let him die, so we are asking for some donations to get this cat the immediate treatment he deserves, and foster him until he can be adopted by a family FOR FREE. We are hoping for enough donations to cover his adoption needs and basic veterinary care to bring him back to adoptable health. We will accept $10 donations via the link below, All funds will be used by Lancaster Humane League who put together a package for us to make this happen, any veterinary care funds will go to Smoketown Animal Hospital. Once the cat is adopted any excess funds be donated to The Humane League of Lancaster to help more cats.
Please note that the purpose of covering the fees helps us foster and make him adoptable Which has been made clear his only chance to live, the wonderful souls who choose to adopt Speedbump will have a healthy, neutered, vaccinated and ready for love cat at no cost. He will even have a Microchip ID! Yes this cat is as Free as a it gets. All he will need after he is picked up is cat food and kitty litter.
