Michelle and Brandon were married on July 7th, with a ceremony and reception at the Farm at Eagles Ridge.
The two of them met a few years ago on Christian Mingle and started texting and talking over the phone. A few days later, Brandon decided to meet Michelle at a Ruby Tuesday’s near her house, and the two of them fell in love with each other’s hearts and their amazing faith. Now, they love to go on picnics, dig into their Bible studies, and go on adventures outdoors.
Faith and family is incredibly important to both Michelle and Brandon, and that was obvious from the very start of their day. We were touched when Michelle’s father presented her with a bracelet that she had given him when she was just five years old. He had kept it her whole life to give back to her at that moment; it was such a sweet, tender gesture.
Michelle’s gown and veil from Posh were simply exquisite. The way the lace complimented her fair features in such an ethereal way was magical. And her bouquet from Petals with Style was stunning in the way it tied her ensemble together. The soft greenery provided such an elegant touch, reflecting the delicate floral pattern in her veil. When combined with the bridesmaids’ soft pink dresses and simple bouquets of baby’s breath these ladies were the perfect balance of elegance and simplicity.
Brandon and Michelle wanted their day to be God-centered, reflecting the fact that they owed everything to God and that they wanted him to be the center of their lives and their new family. And, of course, they wanted to share this with the friends and family, which meant there were so many moments with the bridal party and their family in general that made for amazing, emotional, beautiful pictures. When you have such genuine people, pictures come easily. The pictures of the bride and groom together and with the bridal party were some of our favorites. There’s so much love in every image. It’s clear that Michelle and Brandon have a lot of love in their lives.
We also loved the fact that there was a fire pit and s’mores bar for the guests out in the back of the barn. It added just the right amount of personality and fun to the wedding. Topped off by a sparkler exit, it was everything that you could ask for in a barn wedding.
